Steve deBoer looks outside at the people sitting at tables on the sidewalk and eating free breakfast from the Third Space Café in downtown Niagara Falls, and he doesn’t just see people experiencing homelessness.

He sees people who are beautiful in their own way.

“There’s beauty everywhere in this city, including the people we get the privilege of serving, people who live on the street, our friends and neighbours,” said the pastor at The Bridge church, located on Queen Street right beside Third Space — a non-profit, social enterprise that the church launched in 2018.
